The variety in design and construction materials of SCRCA platelayers' huts

The remaining platelayers' huts within the SCRCA exhibit a remarkable degree of variation in terms of their design and of the construction materials used. To make comparison easier, a document (currently untitled) has been created (see thumbnail to the left). A slightly larger (720 pixel wide, 135kb jpeg) version of this comparison document can be viewed by clicking on the thumbnail, while a high-quality A4 pdf version (848kb) can be downloaded by clicking here.

NB: This comparison document is a temporary draft version: it will be replaced from time to time as the SCRCA Historic Structure Recording Project progresses and images of additional structures are obtained.
