6th - 9th September inclusive.   National Heritage Open Days.   The former Water Tower of Settle Station will be open to the public free of charge, as will Settle Station's preserved signal box.   The water tower project was featured on Channel 4's Restoration Man programme.   This is an opportunity to explore this amazing structure - now converted into a private house.   Visitors can see the stunning views from the roof room on top of the tank.   There is level access and a lift.   Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line volunteers will be on hand to show visitors around.   Tea, coffee and refreshments available.   Why not combine your visit with a ride on the Settle-Carlisle Railway and experience one of the Worlds greatest railway journeys?
