As a member of the Friends you will receive a quarterly magazine featuring news of and developments on the Settle-Carlisle Line. You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you are contributing to the upkeep and development of England's most scenic railway.
If you live outside the valid postcode area for the Dales Railcard, as a FoSCL member you may purchase a Friends' Dalescard which gives you the same privileges, contact us for details.
If you live close enough to the line and have a little spare time, we would be delighted to welcome you as an active volunteer; click on Contact Us if you'd like to follow this up. You will also have the ability to make your views known via letters to the Editor and via the members' login facility on this web site.
We rely almost entirely on the support of our members and individual donors. As a member you will receive our eagerly awaited quarterly magazine and be able to access the Members' Forum on the web...
Two adults living at the same address can join the Friends for a much reduced fee. You get a single copy of the magazine between you and only one vote at the AGM!
Your organisation will be entitled to six copies of the magazine and six user ids to log in to the members only section of the web site. And you'll be supporting our projects.
