Station Waiting Room

Description (long)

The term 'station waiting room' has been applied to all secondary buildings that provide (or originally provided) shelter for passengers at railway stations. However, if the building has (or originally had) 'booking' (i.e. ticket-selling) facilities, it is classified as a 'station main building and booking office', not a 'waiting room'.

Description (short)
