Due to a combination of the following:
- RMT Strike Action Saturdays 6th, 13th and 20th October 2018
and - Engineering Work Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October 2018
the following changes have regrettably been made to the FoSCL Guided Walks Programme:
- Saturday 6th October. Appleby to Kirkby Stephen.
This walk has been CANCELLED.
- Sunday 7th October. Kirkby Stephen circular.
This walk has been ALTERED due to engineering works. An alternative 11 mile walk will take place from Hellifield to Settle via Otterburn and Crake Moor. Alight train at Hellifield, 0958 and return by rail replacement bus from Settle, 1510.
- Saturday 13th October. Ribblehead via Whernside and Crag Hill to Dent village.
This walk will go ahead AS PLANNED. Alight train at Ribblehead, 1039 but with return from Dent at 1938. Numbers will be strictly limited so please contact the walk leader on 01943 875445 or [email protected]
- Saturday 20th October. Ribblehead to Settle via Ingleborough and Park Fell.
This walk will go ahead AS PLANNED. Alight train at Ribblehead, 1039 and return from Settle, 1740 by rail replacement bus to Skipton for train to Leeds.
- Saturday 20th October. Leaping Salmon! Settle - Stainforth Force circular.
This walk will now run FROM THE 0919 from Leeds, alight Settle 1022, return 1538 (to be confirmed)
The above times are all subject to the strike day timetable continuing as September and subject to any last minute changes by Northern.
