Guided Walks Test

A remote valley with an interesting tale to tell of the history and area around Garsdale. This walk will be at a relaxed pace.

An enchanting walk through the Yorkshire countryside visiting Scaleber Wood and Falls with lovely views along the way.

Update 17 October: Due to a path closure, this walk has two possible distances (6.5 miles or 10 miles). The shorter one will finish at Settle (Walker grade) and the longer version at Long Preston (Hiker grade).

Alight Ribblehead for bus to Reeth (return fare to Reeth). Stunning views of Swaledale, Arkengarthdale and the lead mines.

BUS: This walk makes use of the Northern Dalesman Bus to Reeth. Bus return from Reeth. The bus fare is payable.

This low level walk includes potholes and a hidden valley ending at the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct.
