RIBBLEHEAD VIADUCT TOURS – THE BUILDING OF AN ICON
Free guided tours starting from the Visitor Centre on Ribblehead Station will take place on : Thursday 30th May, Thursday 27th June, Thursday 25th July. Thursday 29th August
The tour begins with a talk at the Visitor Centre, followed by a ¾ mile stroll on a stony track to the famous Ribblehead Viaduct to learn about how it was built. On return to the Visitor Centre we take the train to Garsdale (fare payable). At Garsdale Station we will visit the Bronze Statue of Ruswarp, the only dog that signed with his paw, the petition to save the line. We then return by train to Ribblehead Station.

Snacks, drinks and cakes can be obtained from the Visitor Centre Café. Strong footwear is advisable, with waterproofs in case of bad weather.
